Finding calm in 10 minutes

When your mind feels scattered, you do not need a perfect plan. You need a short reset.

Try this 10-minute routine:

  1. Sit somewhere quiet and set a timer for 10 minutes.
  2. Take 5 slow breaths and unclench your jaw and shoulders.
  3. Name 3 things you can see and 3 things you can hear.
  4. Ask: “What is one small next step I can take today?”
  5. Write that step down and do it immediately after the timer ends.

Consistency matters more than intensity. A short daily pause can make the rest of the day easier.
